Frequently Asked Questions
How do I create an account?
Download the Journey app from the App Store or Google Play. You can sign up using Google Sign-In, Apple Sign-In, or email and password.
How do I capture and share moments?
Open the app and you'll be in camera mode immediately. Tap the button to take a photo or hold to record a video. Add an optional caption and post!
Can I control who sees my posts?
Yes! You can make your account private so only approved followers see your content. You can also make individual posts private when sharing.
What permissions does Journey need?
Journey needs camera access to take photos/videos and microphone access for video audio. These permissions are optional but required for core features.
How do I delete my account?
Visit our account deletion page and submit a request. Your account and data will be deleted within 30 days.
Is my data secure?
Yes! We use industry-standard encryption and security measures. Read our Privacy Policy for full details on how we protect your data.
Can I report inappropriate content?
Yes. Use the report function in the app or email us at abuse@journey.airforce with details.
What if I forgot my password?
Use the "Forgot Password" link on the login screen. We'll send you a password reset email. If you signed up with Google or Apple, use those services to sign in.
Troubleshooting
Camera not working?
Make sure you've granted camera permissions in your device settings. Go to Settings → Journey → Enable Camera access.
App crashing or freezing?
Try restarting the app. If the problem persists, uninstall and reinstall Journey. Make sure you're running the latest version.
Upload failing?
Check your internet connection. Large videos may take time to upload. Try switching between WiFi and mobile data.
