Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using Journey ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you disagree with any part of these terms, you may not access the App.

These Terms apply to all visitors, users, and others who access or use the App.

Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use Journey. By using the App, you represent and warrant that:

• You are at least 13 years of age
• You have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms
• You will not use the App if prohibited by applicable law
• All information you provide is accurate and truthful

Account Registration

Creating an Account

To use certain features, you must create an account. You can register using:

• Google Sign-In
• Apple Sign-In
• Email and password

Account Security

You are responsible for:

• Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
• All activities that occur under your account
• Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized use
• Not sharing your account with others

Acceptable Use

You May

• Share photos and videos that you own or have rights to
• Interact with other users' content (like, comment, share)
• Follow other users and build your network
• Use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes

You May Not

• Post content that violates laws or regulations
• Share content that infringes on others' intellectual property
• Upload harmful, offensive, or inappropriate content including:
  • Hate speech, discrimination, or harassment
  • Violence, gore, or graphic content
  • Sexual or sexually explicit content
  • Spam, scams, or misleading content
  • Content promoting illegal activities
• Impersonate others or misrepresent your identity
• Attempt to hack, exploit, or abuse the App
• Use automated tools (bots, scrapers) without permission
• Interfere with or disrupt the App's functionality
• Collect user data without consent

Content and Intellectual Property

Your Content

You retain all rights to the content you post ("Your Content"). By posting content on Journey, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to:

• Store, display, and distribute your content through the App
• Modify your content for technical purposes (resizing, formatting)
• Allow other users to view and interact with your content

This license ends when you delete your content or account, except for content shared by others or cached/backup copies.

Our Content

The App's design, features, trademarks, and other intellectual property are owned by Journey and protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws. You may not copy, modify, or distribute our content without permission.

Content Moderation

We reserve the right to:

• Review, monitor, and moderate content
• Remove content that violates these Terms
• Suspend or terminate accounts for violations
• Report illegal content to authorities

We are not obligated to monitor all content but may do so to ensure a safe community.

Privacy and Data

Your use of Journey is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, and protect your data.

By using the App, you consent to our data practices as described in the Privacy Policy.

Third-Party Services

Journey integrates with third-party services (Google Sign-In, Apple Sign-In, etc.). Your use of these services is subject to their respective terms and policies. We are not responsible for third-party services.

Disclaimers and Limitations

"As Is" Service

Journey is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to:

• Merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose
• Uninterrupted or error-free service
• Accuracy or reliability of content
• Security of data transmission

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Journey and its affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use or inability to use the App.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Journey, its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, or expenses arising from:

• Your violation of these Terms
• Your violation of any rights of others
• Your use of the App
• Your content

Termination

By You

You may terminate your account at any time by visiting our account deletion page. Upon termination:

• Your profile will be removed from public view immediately
• Your content will be deleted within 30 days
• You will lose access to your account and content

By Us

We may suspend or terminate your account if you:

• Violate these Terms
• Engage in fraudulent or illegal activity
• Pose a security or legal risk
• Have been inactive for an extended period

Dispute Resolution

Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

Arbitration

Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of Journey shall be resolved through binding arbitration, except where prohibited by law. You waive your right to participate in class action lawsuits.

Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of significant changes by email or through the App. Your continued use of Journey after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. If you disagree with the changes, you must stop using the App and delete your account.

General Provisions

• Entire Agreement: These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and Journey
• Severability: If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in effect
• No Waiver: Our failure to enforce any right or provision does not constitute a waiver
• Assignment: You may not assign these Terms; we may assign them without restriction
